The Pirates’ Promise Program at Orange Coast College is committed to the success of its students and intends to help them accelerate their education in order to start their career or transfer sooner. The Pirates’ Promise Program provides eligible students free tuition and textbook support for first and second-year students. Pirates’ Promise is perfect for students who do not qualify for other forms of federal or state financial aid, but must still submit a FAFSA or CA Dream Act application. 

Additional eligibility criteria for tuition payment include California residency and 12-unit enrollment at OCC.
