California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR)

The California Department of Rehabilitation is a California state department that administers vocational rehabilitation services. It provides vocational rehabilitation services and advocacy from over 100 locations throughout California seeking employment, independence, and equality for individuals with disabilities. Students who have learning based, physical (mobility), mental health, or other disabilities may be eligible for State Department of Rehabilitation services if their disabilities affect their vocations. These services include vocational counseling and guidance, reimbursed training, and job placement. Under certain circumstances, students also may qualify for assistance with medical needs, living expenses, and transportation.
