This course is designed to develop pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and common idioms through listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Mandarin Chinese. Additionally, students are introduced to culture and social linguistic knowledge appropriate to Chinese-speaking societies. Graded or Pass/No Pass option.
