This course is for the beginning player or a player with no prior professional instruction. Students will learn basic chord forms, scales, and music theory. The course focuses on the styles of the last 40 years and is very "rock" oriented, but students learn songs of their choice as part of the curriculum. Students must provide their own acoustic or electric guitar, and daily practice is necessary for satisfactory progress. Graded or Pass/No Pass option.
