The Primary English Language Skills Certificate of Competency will serve a growing community of English learners with little to no knowledge of the Roman alphabet. It aims to give adult English learners literacy skills upon which they may begin to develop their English skills. Program Outcomes:

Students will demonstrate the ability to recognize and produce basic literacy elements of English. 

Certificate of Competency

A certificate in a recognized career field articulated with degree-applicable coursework, completion of an associate degree, or transfer to a baccalaureate institution.
