This program is designed for intermediate English language learners. Students will develop listening, speaking, grammar, reading, and writing skills alongside the foundational skills for a potential transfer to career development or academic program.

This is a non-credit program and does not provide college credit for degree award.

1. Students will demonstrate the ability to engage in extended discussions about less familiar topics orally and in writing with a growing grammar and pronunciation accuracy.
2. Students will show comprehension of the main idea and supporting details of level-appropriate written and/or oral texts.

Certificate of Competency

A certificate in a recognized career field articulated with degree-applicable coursework, completion of an associate degree, or transfer to a baccalaureate institution.
