This program is designed for adult English language learners seeking to transition to college-level credit course work. The Listening/ Speaking course and the Reading/ Writing course may be taken in either order.
Program Outcomes
- Students will demonstrate the English proficiency in listening and speaking needed to participate in college-level activities.
- Students will demonstrate the English proficiency in reading and writing needed to succeed in college-level credit courses.
- Students will demonstrate knowledge of postsecondary educational system in the U.S.
Certificate of Competency
A certificate in a recognized career field articulated with degree-applicable coursework, completion of an associate degree, or transfer to a baccalaureate institution.
