The Guided Pathways initiative will make students’ pathways to success easier to navigate. The College attempts via this effort to provide solutions to barriers that students face in their journeys to complete their educational goals. The Guided Pathways framework for student success at OCC will:

• Assist students in identifying the path to attaining their educational goals.
• Provide all students with a set of clear course-taking patterns that promote better enrollment decisions and prepare students for future success.
• Integrate support services in ways that make it easier for students to get the help they need during every step of their community college experience.
• Assess student learning to assure students are leaving the college with the skills, knowledge, and dispositions required to be successful in their chosen fields.
