Areas of study include development of basic on-camera acting techniques for film, video and television. Emphasis will be placed on the audition process for commercials and TV/film technique along with the understanding of the various camera angles, shots, positions and actor behaviors unique to acting before a camera. Content to include costume history, aesthetics, criticism, and how religious, political and economic conditions affect the design of theatrical costumes.
