Career and Transfer Center
Coastline’s Career and Transfer Center (CTC) offers a variety of services to support students in achieving their transfer academic, career, and transfer goals.
With an equity-minded, student-centered approach, career services include resume preparation and critique, mock interviews, major/career exploration, career assessments, referrals, employment/work-based experiences search and acquisition. Students can obtain labor market information on specific careers such as current employment statistics, wages, and projected growth in the industry. Career services continuously delivers online and onsite career development workshops and major-specific events.
With an equity-minded, student-centered approach, transfer services prepare students to successfully transition from Coastline to baccalaureate-level institutions with: (1) information on how to become "transfer ready" by establishing goals, timelines, (2) access to current information on evolving transfer requirements, (3) participation in transfer fairs, virtual tours, and workshops, (4) application help to apply at the University of California (UC), California State University (CSU), CA Private Universities, and Out-of-State schools, and (5) ability to network with university representatives.

Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with a counselor to develop a Student Education Plan (SEP) in support in their planning, decision-making, and goal setting processes in regards to achieving their academic/career goals.
