The Basic Drone Imaging Skills Certificate of Achievement program is a Career Technical Ed specialty, designed for the student who wants a concentrated course of study in the field of Drone imaging. It has been designed to prepare students for entry-level employment as a UAS image capture specialist and preparing for FAA Part 107 Pilot license certification. Students will be educated in the use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems, photography, videography, post-production editing, careers and business practices.
Program Outcome
Students will be able to demonstrate competence as an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Image Capture Specialist and show a critical understanding of aerial visual image capture and post production. Students will be prepared for entry level positions as a drone photographer.
