The courses in Basic Skills create a foundation for subsequent courses required for an AA, AS degree or CTE program. Continuing study in math will prepare students for a wide range of careers in technology, the health field, education, research, engineering and business.

Program Outcomes

  1. Perform operations on real numbers and algebraic expressions.
  2. Translate real life problems into algebraic expressions or equations and simplify or solve.

A certificate in a recognized career field articulated with degree-applicable coursework, completion of an associate degree, or transfer to a baccalaureate institution.
