Essentials of Intermediate Algebra (Functions), Certificate of Competency

This program introduces students to the essentials of intermediate algebra, focusing on relations and functions, and their graphs. Completing this certificate will help prepare students for essential intermediate algebra concepts and skills necessary to succeed at college-level mathematics courses.

  1. Deduce if the graph or collection of ordered pairs for a relation represents a function. 
  2. Graph a function from the library of functions.
