Ocean Lifeguard I, Certificate of Completion
This noncredit certificate of completion program will prepare students for employment as a seasonal/fulltime ocean lifeguard in the State of California. Physical fitness requirements, medical training and rescue techniques will be assesed.
Program Level Learning Outcomes
- Use advanced first aid to manage and treat injuries.
- Analyze different ocean currents from the shoreline.
- Identify appropriate ways in dealing with the public.
