Completion of this certificate, issued through the Business and Computing Division, will enable students to apply for entry-level positions in Java programming. In addition, students will also have the opportunity to earn industry credentials as an Oracle Certified Java Associate. A grade of “C” or better is required in all courses. All courses must be completed at Orange Coast College.

Program Outcome

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to write Java classes using flow-of-control and fundamental data structures.
