This noncredit program will prepare students to succeed on the GED test. Courses in the program are GED Test Preparation classes and provide students with the reading, writing, science and math skills necessary to successfully pass the GED exam. Upon satisfactory completion of two-four courses with a final grade of acceptable completion for each course, students will earn a Certificate of Completion in GED Preparation.

Program Level Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of the concepts in language arts, mathematics, science, and social science that prepare students to pass the General Education Development (GED) exam.
  2. Demonstrate critical thinking skills to evaluate ideas and information.
