Practical experience, emphasizing content, organization and delivery, will be required in at least three speaking situations, specifically including persuasive and informative speaking. Essentials of Argumentation is the study of theory, practice, and criticism of argumentation, focusing on principles of effective argumentation, including the use of inductive and deductive logic, propositions, reasoning, evidence, and refutation.
