Paraeducator, Certificate of Achievement
This Paraeducator Certificate of Achievement will prepare students to work as paraeducators in both special education classrooms and general education/inclusive classrooms, supporting students with and without disabilities in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through grade 12 (TK-12) school settings.
Program Level Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Differentiate developmental levels of children and adolescents.
- Identify characteristics of all federally recognized disabilities.
- Implement accommodations/modifications for students with disabilities.
