The Associated Student Government (ASG) is the recognized student governance body at Coastline College. ASG advocates for student interests at the college and in local, state, and national forums, and strives to develop and/or support relevant and quality-minded services and experiences that are responsive to members of the College and surrounding communities. ASG provides opportunities for students to expand and develop leadership skills through activities and experiences. These activities and experiences include student governance, student clubs, and student events.

ASG fosters meaningful student development through leadership and community experiences. In recognition of its responsibility to enhance student life, ASG encourages and supports the activities of all Coastline recognized student organizations whose activities stimulate individual and group engagement in the College and surrounding community.
