Course Description

Basic landscape drafting practices, lettering, line work, symbols, sheet composition and dimensioning. Transfer Credit: CSU.

Draft and sketch symbols and textures while properly using drafting equipment.
Transfer written information to a drafted drawing using an architect's scale.

Course Objectives

1. Identify and properly use basic drafting equipment.
2. Draft lines of different weight.
3. Draft and sketch symbols and textures.
4. Accurately use an architects scale.
5. Properly transfer house/ site measurements to a scaled drawing
6. Use color to enhance textures and symbols
