Course Description
This course will introduce students to the full spectrum of live theatrical plays in performance with emphasis on theater history and the role of the director, designer and actor. This course will enable students to understand, appreciate and evaluate live theatrical plays in performance. Transfer Credit: CSU; UC.

Eligible Disciplines
Drama/theater Arts: Masters degree or Master of Fine Arts in drama/theater arts/performance OR bachelors degree or Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama/theater/performance AND masters degree in comparative literature, English, communication studies, speech, literature, or humanities OR the equivalent. Masters degree required.
