Course Description
Introduction to the Industrial Technology careers and programs at Orange Coast College including presentations of each Industrial Technology program This course may also be offered online. Offered on a pass-no pass basis only. Not Transferable.

- 1. Make informed decisions on career choices by procuring necessary information concerning various Industrial Technology careers offered at Orange Coast College.
- 2. Explain and assist students with the application process to enter an Industrial Technology program at Orange Coast College.

- Aviation (flight, navigation, ground school, air traffic control): Any bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience.
- Construction technology: Any bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience.
- Electronics: Any bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience.
- Aeronautics (airframe and powerplant, aircraft mechanics, aeronautical engineering technician, avionics): Any bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience.
- Engineering technology: Master’s degree in any field of engineering technology or engineering OR bachelor’s degree in either of the above AND master’s degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, biological science, or chemistry, OR bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, engineering technology or engineering AND a professional engineer’s license OR the equivalent.
