Course Description
Physician presentations on current topics in pulmonary medicine emphasizing patient assessment and treatment. Discussion with physicians about individual clinical problems. COREQUISITE: RSPC A276. Transfer Credit: CSU.

Instructional Techniques
Image and video enhanced physician lectures covering core concepts, pathologies, procedures and therapies and current topics in Respiratory Care; questions asked and answered by students. Class Discussions encouraging students to pose questions to physicians and answer those posed by the MD to the audience.
Reading Assignments
Students will read on average 1 hour per week from materials assigned by physician and course instructor.
Writing Assignments
Students will spend approximately 1 hour per week working on written homework assignments based off weekly physician lecture.
Out-of-class Assignments
Students will spend 1-2 hours per week of clinical coursework applying concepts attained.
