Course Description

Formerly: Professional Nursing Issues 1. This course introduces the students to the role of the professional nurse, therapeutic communication, healthcare delivery systems, and healthcare teams. The students will develop a beginning understanding of the nursing process and the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) competencies as the framework to clinical judgment.
