Course Description
Formerly: High Tech Center/ACE Lab. This course is designed to provide students with opportunities to use necessary adaptive technology. The adaptive technology allows students to enhance their success in various college settings. Registration is available only through the Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) Office. Open entry/open exit. Hours by arrangement. NOT DEGREE APPLICABLE. Not Transferable.

Course Objectives
- 1. Use the computer to do their homework and study for courses.
- 2. Use the adaptive equipment to more fully participate in various college settings.

Appropriate services and accommodations that may include: 1. Testing facilitation2. Adaptive hardware including a closed circuit TV, adaptive keyboard, adaptive mouse.3. Adaptive software including Zoom Text, JAWS, Dragon Naturally Speaking.4. Specialized lab staff5. Additional time for tests and assignments.
