Course Description

This course is a focused practice in creative non-fiction writing, such as the personal essay, memoir, travel writing, and nature writing. Students will explore how to transform real-life experiences, factual events, and research into compelling narratives. They will develop their writing by engaging in the writing process, writer's workshop environment, and through close reading and analysis of a variety of published works of creative non-fiction.
