Course Description
This noncredit course introduces the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with a focus on practical tools for professional use. Students will explore generative AI platforms, ethical considerations, and real-world applications across communication, content creation, productivity, and industry-specific tasks. Through hands-on practice, students will learn how to streamline workflows and enhance workplace efficiency and creativity using AI tools. Not Transferable.

- Demonstrate responsible use of AI technologies by identifying ethical considerations, data privacy concerns, and appropriate use cases across professional settings.
Course Objectives
- Learners will define artificial intelligence and distinguish between generative AI platforms for professional applications. They will apply prompt engineering techniques for workplace tasks and integrate AI-powered productivity tools within Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments. Learners will utilize AI tools for professional writing, content creation, and research while implementing visual and multimedia AI tools for presentations and graphic design. The course enables learners to evaluate industry-specific AI applications across various sectors, including education, business, marketing, and project management, and demonstrate ethical AI practices that incorporate data privacy considerations. Learners also create personalized AI efficiency toolkits tailored to specific professional roles. Learners will assess the impact of AI integration on workplace productivity and professional development.
