Course Description
The Apple Device Support course introduces students to the essential skills needed to support, configure, and troubleshoot Apple devices in organizational settings; Content is aligned with the Apple Device Support Exam, preparing students for industry-recognized certification; Students will gain experience with device setup, networking, security, and diagnostic tools Not Transferable.

- Identify and explain core functions of Apple device setup, configuration, and support.
- Troubleshoot common hardware, software, and connectivity issues on Apple devices using diagnostic tools.
- Demonstrate competency in applying concepts aligned with the Apple Device Support Exam to prepare for certification.
Course Objectives
- 1. Demonstrate an understanding of basic IT concepts as they apply to Apple device support.
- 2. Describe the functions and features of Apple devices commonly used in organizational settings.
- 3. Prepare for the Apple Device Support Exam by reviewing key learning objectives and demonstrating familiarity with the exam registration and practice process.
- 4. Explain how organizations use Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Managed Apple Accounts to manage devices, users, and access at scale, and demonstrate how iCloud, Continuity, and passkeys enhance security, usability, and seamless integration across Apple devices.

Students will analyze and evaluate strategies for configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Apple devices, applying problem-solving skills to determine effective solutions for device setup, security, backup, and enterprise-level management scenarios.
Required Writing, Problem Solving, Skills Demonstration
Students will complete short reflections, scenario responses, or peer-feedback exercises that demonstrate understanding of device management concepts, troubleshooting steps, and workplace applications. Students will analyze real-world or simulated technical issues with Apple devices and MDM systems, identifying causes and proposing effective solutions. Students will perform hands-on tasks such as configuring devices, managing apps, applying security settings, and using backup or restoration tools to show mastery of practical skills.
