Course Description

Formerly: ART A100 Survey of Western Art from Prehistory Through Gothic. This course introduces students to visual art and architecture from prehistory to the medieval era with a focus on art from Europe, North Africa, and the near East. The course will further consider global interactions involving these regions. Enrollment Limitation: ARTH A100H; students who complete ARTH A100 may not enroll in or receive credit for ARTH A100H.
