Course Description
Federal Communication Commission general radiotelephone operations license (G.R.O.L.) exam preparation. Federal Aviation Administration rules and regulations as they apply to the maintenance of avionic systems. Transfer Credit: CSU.
Course Level Student Learning Outcome(s)
- Pass the FCC Radiotelephone exam with a score of 70 percent or better.
- Explain the Federal Aviation Regulations related to avionics installations.
- Complete of FAA form 337 following an avionics system installation.
Course Objectives
- 1. Complete the FCC exam element 1with at least a 70 percent.
- 2. Complete the FCC exam element 2 with at least a 70 percent.
- 3. Complete the FCC exam element 3 with at least a 70 percent
- 4. Explain the Federal Aviation Regulations related to avionics installations.
- 5. Demonstrate the proper completion of FAA form 337 following an avionics system installation.
