  1. The student will demonstrate skills needed to recognize, analyze and discuss the current topics related to Accounting in written format or through the use of technology.

Course Objectives

  • 1. 1.Compare requirements/laws/solutions to various problems using past and current techniques. 2.Identify, discuss and analyze current issues in Accounting. 3.Develop skills and techniques related to Accounting which may include software applications.

Lecture Content

Presentation of topics will include the following: 1.   Background, including definitions of terminologies. 2.   Fundamental concepts and principles, including relationship of new topics to previous technologies/laws. 3.   Application of fundamental concepts and principles to solve various problems.
