Supplemental Instruction is designed to help students continue to develop their reading, writing, math, and language skills while concurrently enrolled in another course. The certificate consists of two core courses – the Writing Center and the Math Center. These tuition-free, noncredit courses are designed to support student success in a low-stakes learning environment through individualized direct instruction from discipline faculty members, supplemental directed learning activities, and skills-focused workshops.

Upon completion of this program students will be able to:
- Identify strategies to increase course success and reduce anxiety in class.
This award confirms that a student has completed a noncredit program that prepares students to progress in a career path or to take degree-applicable courses.
Students must complete the core courses. Students may take the courses concurrently if they are enrolled in courses that require math and English support. Students are not required to take the courses in a specific order, and students may enroll in courses up to 99 times each. Courses will be offered in fourteen-week and six-week deliveries and are open entry/open exit.

This program is designed to support students enrolled in any course that requires math, reading, and writing skills. Students should enroll in these courses only if they are currently enrolled in another course that requires math, reading, and/or writing.
