This is a noncredit certificate program in English Language Learning designed to prepare beginning-level students for entry-level employment, career training courses, and further academic study. The certificate program includes courses that focus on speaking and listening skills; grammar, reading and writing skills; and pronunciation skills. 

Program Learning Outcomes

1. 1.Communicate basic personal information in spoken English following conventions of grammar and pronunciation.
2. 2.Ask basic questions in English following conventions of pronunciation and grammar.
3. 3.Complete a basic paper and pencil or online application form in English following conventions of spelling, grammar, and mechanics.
