Completion of the Apparel Construction certificate program prepares students for careers in the fashion industry and in related businesses.

Complete the Fashion Apparel Construction Certificate of Achievement and the Associate in Science graduation requirements as outlined in the Graduation Requirements section of the catalog.

Program Outcome

The outcome of the program is to prepare students for entry-level employment as a competent professional in the fields of garment construction, alterations, patternmaking, tailoring, alterations, and dressmaking and meet the needs of the local fashion industry.
