This certificate will prepare students for a career in the areas of web design, user interface design, and user experience design. Students will learn design and technical skills applied to layout, aesthetics, functionality, user ability, and organization of websites and mobile apps. Industry preferred software for web design and mobile app creation will be used as well as hand coding methods.

Program Level Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Describe the process for creating websites and mobile apps.
- Design websites and mobile apps for use on multiple web browsers and mobile devices.
- Evaluate current websites and mobile apps.
- Utilize software to produce websites and mobile app projects.
- Use HTML5 and CSS, or latest versions, to code responsive websites.
