At Orange Coast College, we know that life will sometimes throw adversity your way. That’s why we’re committed to giving you the real-world skills you need to succeed, no matter what — it’s our personal commitment to you and to each of our 20,000 students.

OCC’s expansive 164-acre campus — located in the heart of Orange County — features the latest in modern technology. State-of-the-art facilities include our brand-new Student Union, Aquatics Center, Planetarium, and Fitness Complex. Over the next few years, the College will continue to invest millions of dollars in premier facilities for students, including a new Social Science and Language Arts building.

OCC also is returning to its roots with the addition of a new 800-bed student housing facility. Transitioning back into a residential campus not only pays homage to OCC's history, it removes barriers to education by providing students with much-needed affordable housing.

Our Pirates’ Promise program makes it easier for you to concentrate on your classes by paying for your tuition and books for up to two years. More information and eligibility criteria can be found at www.orangecoastcollege.edu/piratespromise.

Students at OCC enjoy big-time amenities in a small-college atmosphere. In addition to free tutoring, counseling, health and wellness services and on-campus public safety, OCC offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of every student, from first-time college students, single parents, former foster youth/wards of the court, veterans, international students and much more. Best of all, with appointments available both in-person and virtually, OCC offers flexibility, getting you the services you need when you need them.

OCC is a leader in transfer, ranking among the top two-year colleges in helping students transfer to the University of California and California State University systems.  This fall we are embarking on acceleration of completion in Math and English with a redesign in curriculum support and improved placement into the correct courses. In addition to transfer degrees, the College also offers Associate in Arts and Science degrees, Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT), CSU/GE and IGETC certification, and certificates in a wide variety of career programs. Plus, OCC provides limitless opportunities in student government, student clubs, honors societies and 20 athletics programs.
